Midpoint Park and Eatery is located at 931 SW 2nd Ave, right in the heart of the Gainesville Innovation District. While the venue is always available to the public during hours of operation, some or all of the space may be available, depending on the size and details of your event. What's the cost for the event space at Midpoint?
Midpoint Park & Eatery has a base price and a la carte options to cultivate your perfect event atmosphere.  Please feel encouraged to send us information about your event to receive a customized proposal. No outside food or drinks are permitted, and the park and trucks will stay open for other patrons as well. As part of the experience, we ask that you and your guests utilize the amazing restaurants in the park for your food, beverages and delight.
Can we bring outside food or drinks?
No outside food or drink are permitted without written permission of Midpoint Park & Eatery management. We make exceptions for certain items, like birthday cakes. Please remember that our restaurants are small businesses that sustain their living through their sales.

Will other people be allowed in the park during our event?
Yes, Midpoint Park & Eatery will remain open for other patrons during your event, allowing food lovers to get their fix at one of our four restaurants unless your event has reached the minimal rental requirement that would allow us to close the park for solely your guests.  Should the park remain open, we welcome you to use the lawn, tables, chairs, and event space for your event.
We would like to install a tent for our event. Is that possible?
Yes, Midpoint Park & Eatery allows you to install a tent during your event. Tents should be pre-approved as part of the booking process, and our event coordinator would be happy to talk to you about the options when booking the event. Please note that there are two common manners for securing tents to the ground: tent anchors (that penetrate the ground and utilize stakes) and tent weights (which use weighted to hold down and secure the canopy, typically in a bucket). Due to underground utility lines at Midpoint, all tents must be secured using tent weights as opposed to tent anchors.
